The honest framing
MSport Ghana ships through five install channels — all targeting the same Android package, com.hopegaming.android. The operator hedges Play Store policy enforcement by also hosting an APK directly, and several third-party mirrors index the same build. That’s why “msport app” only attracts ~720 searches/month while the brand’s login traffic is over 200× larger — users don’t search for the install, they install through whichever channel was in front of them.

The Play Store listing covers Android. Whether MSport ships an iOS app is TBD until verified against the App Store. iPhone users currently default to the PWA route.

Install via operator-hosted APK
If the Play Store version is unavailable (regional Play restrictions, device without Play services, version-rollback need), the operator hosts the APK directly. The route is msport.com/gh/m/mkt/download. Two cautions:
- Enable “Install unknown apps” only for your browser. Don’t grant it globally. Settings → Apps → Special access → Install unknown apps → [your browser] → Allow.
- Verify the package name after install. Open Settings → Apps → MSport → check that the package is
com.hopegaming.android. Same package = same operator. Any other package name = a third-party clone.
Third-party mirrors (Uptodown, APKPure)
Both index the same com.hopegaming.android package and let you download older versions if the current build has issues on your device. Same security caveats as the operator APK — verify the package after install.
App size, data usage, low-end devices
40.68 MB install footprint sits in the middle of the GH sportsbook set — SportyBet ships smaller, Betway ships heavier. After install, the SPA-style sportsbook renders a lot of dynamic content; per-session data usage runs higher than the install size would suggest.
