Vodafone Cash → Telecel Cash
In 2024, Vodafone Ghana was acquired and the mobile-money product was rebranded from Vodafone Cash to Telecel Cash. Operator copy across the GH-market often still says “Vodafone” — pre-rebrand language that hasn’t been updated everywhere. Whether MSport’s deposit screen labels the channel “Vodafone” or “Telecel” is TBD; the underlying mobile-money wallet is the same regardless.
That’s the legacy label for what is now Telecel Cash. Your Vodafone Cash wallet from before 2024 is the same wallet (now branded Telecel). The transaction flow is unchanged.
If Telecel Cash is in the lobby
Operator-typical flow: sign in → Deposit → Telecel Cash → enter amount → confirm at the Telecel prompt with wallet PIN → wait for SMS + balance update. If Telecel is NOT in the lobby, the confirmed alternative is MTN MoMo via the in-app flow or the published paybill *711*800#.

How to deposit with Telecel Cash on MSport
Telecel Cash is the rebranded Vodafone Cash wallet — if you still see “Vodafone Cash” on a screen, it is the same rail under the new Telecel name after the ownership change. On MSport Ghana the deposit flow follows the operator-typical mobile-money pattern:
- Log in and open the Deposit / cashier screen.
- Choose Telecel Cash (or “Vodafone Cash” if the label has not been updated yet).
- Enter the amount and your Telecel-registered number.
- Approve the prompt on your phone (USSD push or the Telecel app) with your PIN.
- The balance reflects once the network confirms — usually seconds to a couple of minutes.
Telecel Cash withdrawals
Withdrawals return to the same Telecel number after your account has passed KYC. Median payout timing and any per-day caps are operator-side, so we mark them TBD rather than guess. Why Telecel matters in Ghana
